Brochure Exchange in Ribble Valley

Published Thursday 7th October 10

TOURISM buffs are invited to a unique brochure exchange day at the Calf’s Head, Worston, on Wednesday, October 13.

Anyone involved in the Ribble Valley tourism industry, as well as event organisers, are invited to share their brochures and leaflets from 2 to 4pm.

The free event, organised by the Ribble Valley Tourism Association and Ribble Valley Borough Council, is offering participants the opportunity to promote their business or event, save on postage and distribution, and network with their peers.

Ribble Valley Borough Council tourism assistant Val Jackson said: "We held a brochure exchange day in July, which was so successful that we have decided to hold another in preparation for Christmas.

"We are inviting all tourism-related businesses, from hotels to historic attractions, shops to self-catering cottages, to come along to the Calf's Head with a stack of leaflets and enjoy a fabulous free networking event."

The event will also include displays by the Ribble Valley Tourism Association and Clitheroe Visitor Information Centre.
