What Goes in my Bins?

Place your recyclable waste loose in the bin. No bin bags please.

Rinse recyclables to reduce contamination and odours. Save space by washing and squashing cans and plastic bottles

Things that should go in your blue bin:

• glass bottles and jars
• plastic food tubs, pots, bottles or packaging with a 1, 2 or 5 within the recycling triangle
• Tetra-pak cartons
• aluminum cans, trays and foil
• empty tooth past tubes
• empty non-black plastic plant pots with a 1, 2 or 5 within the recycling triangle

Things that cannot go in your blue bin:

• textiles
• polystyrene
• cutlery
• carrier bags
• pyrex
• window glass
• batteries/vapes
• electrical items
• gas cylinders (eg balloon gas)
• paper/cardboard
