Strategic Outline Business Case

The Strategic Outline Business Case was submitted to the Department of Transport in April 2021. The Project Team, led by Ribble Valley Borough Council, which is delivering this project and includes representatives from  North Yorkshire County Council, Lancashire County Council, Network Rail, Northern Rail, Community Rail Lancashire and the Department for Transport worked with Stantec to undertake the Business Case along with Network Rail to undertake the capacity analysis element of the project.

Public Engagement

In order to fully understand all views on transport options, the full range of existing transport problems and potential options to address these the views of the public were sought as part of the project. A summary of the public engagement was submitted with the Strategic Outline Business Case above.
