Ever wondered what a skeleton can tell us about a person’s life—and death? Join Dr. Allison Stewart from the University of Central Lancashire for this hands-on workshop.

Participants aged 13 and up will step into the shoes of a bioarchaeologist to explore how scientists ‘read’ bones to uncover stories of identity, health, lifestyle, diet, and ancient cultures.

Through use of replica plastic skeletal remains, you'll learn how archaeologists piece together the biographies of those who lived long ago. No prior experience needed—just curiosity and a desire to dig into the past!

Workshop aimed at teens and young people 13+ (content and activity is not recommended for children) and will last about 1hr.

Free. Booking essential.
