Join Access the Dales for a relaxing and multi-sensory woodland walk in the beautiful Gisburn Forest, in the heart of the Forest of Bowland.

This inclusive walk takes us on a mainly flat, accessible route through peaceful forest trails to Stocks Reservoir, offering fresh air, birdsong, woodland scents, and beautiful waterside views.

Start Time: 11:00am

Distance: Approximately 4 miles (circular/return route)

Route: Mainly flat, forest tracks and reservoir paths

Accessibility

This walk has been carefully planned to be as inclusive as possible:

  • Suitable for all-terrain wheelchairs and mobility scooters

  • Several all-terrain wheelchairs are available to borrow, please email info.accessthedales@gmail.com if you require one of our scooters

  • Mainly flat, well-surfaced forest trails

  • Supportive, trained walk leaders throughout

  • A gentle pace with plenty of rest stops

This is a relaxed, multi-sensory walk designed for everyone to enjoy the sights, sounds, and atmosphere of the forest.
