Planting Day at Waddington Community Orchard
A great way to support the orchard and spend a bit of time outdoors with the community.
Volunteers welcome.
Unfortunately four of the young trees planted last year at the Waddington Community Orchard didn’t survive their first year, so we’ll be replacing them.
We’ll be planting:
- 2 × Bradley’s Beauty apple trees
- 2 × Scotch Bridget apple trees
We also have some bulbs to plant around the orchard.
If you’re free, please come along and lend a hand.
Please bring gloves and a rake if you have them, but don’t worry if you don’t — everyone is welcome and there will be plenty to help with.
