Waddington Duck Race and Scarecrow Festival

Join us in beautiful Waddington for the Village Duck Race and Scarecrow Festival, celebrating our 25th Anniversary with a fantastic day of family entertainment, tradition and community spirit.

Watch 3,000 ducks race down the brook at 3pm, explore the wonderful scarecrows displayed throughout the village, and enjoy live performances from the Royal Preston Morris Dancers, plus a wide variety of food stalls, community groups and local attractions for all ages.

The Almshouses Fayre from 11am will feature traditional Maypole Dancing by pupils from Waddington and West Bradford School, along with the Crowning of the Rose Queen

A free shuttle bus will run from Clitheroe between 12 noon and 5pm to help visitors travel easily to the event.

Come along and help us celebrate 25 years of one of the Ribble Valley’s most loved community events.

Please note: the village road will be closed from 10am until 7pm.
