Junior Archaeologists: Medieval Tile Pottery Workshop

Time: 11:00 - 11:45

Celebrate the Festival of Archaeology 2026 and book your young archaeologists (age 7+) onto our pottery workshop. Have a play with some clay and roll-out and then decorate a tile in the medieval style in this experimental archaeology activity. Each young archaeologist will take their tile home and receive their very own certificate to take away, too!

The session lasts around 45 minutes.

Pottery sessions are £3.00 per child. Please book online or phone, email, or call in at the museum shop for more information. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

An alternative self-guided activity will be provided for younger children (under 7) accompanying children taking part.

Doors open for registration at 10.45am and the session will start at 11.00am prompt.
