Castle Crafts – Medieval Shields

Time: 11:30 - 12:30

Unleash your creativity and learn about the knights of yore with this guided craft activity where you can paint your own medieval shield!

Using a template, you'll be provided with colours to design your own shield to take home, while learning more about the equipment of knights in the Middle Ages. Examples of Medieval heraldry will be shown to help get the creativity flowing.

£6 per craft plus a sheet of fun facts to take home.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. This session is aimed at ages 5-11yrs, although older creatives are more than welcome!

Paints, and colouring pens will be used in this activity, as well as glue to affix some decorations, so clothes for messy activities are advised.
