Summer Sunday Events at The Platform Gallery - Suminagashi
Suminagashi, literally translating to "floating ink", is an ancient Japanese art of water marbling.
Dating back to the 12th century, it involves gently alternating drops of ink and a spreading agent onto the surface of water to create intricate, swirling, organic patterns, which are then lifted onto paper.
It’s a fascinating process and suitable for children aged 8 upwards and adults alike.
All activities are free and drop in. So no need to book. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
