Calling all cat lovers and Halloween explorers! Join us at the museum throughout October for a month of spooky seasonal fun as we celebrate Halloween and Wool Month.

Our mischievous castle cats have been busy playing and have wandered off into the museum galleries. Search the museum to spot all the hidden cats with their favourite balls of wool. Complete the hunt and enter our competition for the chance to win a fantastic goody bag from the museum shop.

The hunt runs daily. Museum admission applies. Adults £5.20. All children go free.

You can also enjoy our range of Halloween and wool-themed crafts from Halloween tealights (£3) to woolly cat decorations (£2). Museum admission does not apply to join in with crafts.

There's free activity sheets and a cosy reading corner to enjoy too. Come along and join the fun!

Why not dress up? All witches, wizards, ghosts and ghouls are welcome. We look forward to seeing you soon.

The museum is open daily March to October and Friday to Tuesday from November to February. For full details of opening times and events at Clitheroe Castle Museum visit Clitheroe Castle Museum - Lancashire County Council.
