Marks of the Castle – Death and Burial in Bronze Age Clitheroe

Date: 25th October 2026.

Location: Clitheroe Castle Museum, Castle Hill,
Castle Street,
Clitheroe,
Lancashire,
BB7 1BA

Cost: £25.00

Time: 12:00 - 15:00

In this workshop with local professional artist Gosha Gibek you will explore the current exhibition, Death and Burial in Bronze Age Clitheroe, using observational drawing as our starting point.

From there, you'll work with a variety of mixed media, including collage and acrylic painting, to create an abstract artwork inspired by what you've seen.

Along the way, participants will get to experience different materials and techniques, and develop their own way of observing, noticing and expressing what they find. No experience is necessary, just curiosity.

£25 per person, including materials and free entry to the museum. All materials are provided, and you'll leave with a piece of artwork you've made yourself.
