Feathered Friends Crafts at the Castle
Enjoy making your own decorative castle-style bird box or a pinecone bird feeder to help feed the birds in the winter months.
Autumn is the perfect time to think about our garden birds and how we can help them in the cold winter months. Create your own decorative castle-style bird box ornament for £4, inspired by Clitheroe Castle or make a pinecone bird feeder for £2 to help provide food for birds during the winter months. As you decorate your bird box, think about where a real bird box could be installed to give birds a safe place to shelter in the winter and nest in the spring.
There's a cosy reading corner and free colouring activities too.
No museum admission ticket is required to take part in craft activities. Suitable for children of all ages. Drop in and get crafting!
Whilst you're here you can also join in with our Beautiful Bird Hunt and enter the November prize draw to win a museum goody bag. Museum admission applies. Kids go free.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
