Flood Recovery : Contact Numbers

If you have been affected by flooding, the following contact numbers will help you get the help and advice you need.

Housing (01200 414567)

Flood repairs can take weeks or months to complete. It takes time to dry out a property and some buildings will have to be gutted before repair. Ask your insurance company or landlord to provide you with temporary accommodation. If you need advice contact the council’s housing team.

Environmental Health (01200 414464)

Refuse Collection (01200 425111)

Households that have lost their wheelie bins as a result of the floods are asked to inform us and leave their domestic refuse in plastic sacks at the normal collection point until the bins can be replaced. Plastic sacks will be delivered to houses, or can be collected from the flood relief centre at Whalley Village Hall. Please do not to place refuse in skips intended for house clearances.
