Employer Discretions (Statement of Policy)

As a member of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) we have to review our policy concerning how we award additional pension members, early retirement and flexible retirement, including redundancy and compensatory payments.

This year we have been required to review and revise our policies in respect of mandatory requirements as a result of new pension scheme regulations that were introduced in April 2014. See our revised policy.
