Sporting Excellence Grant

Ribble Valley Borough Council operate a fund which is available to help support talented athletes.

Grants are available to young people who are in full time education and who are currently performing at county standard as a minimum.

Ribble Valley Recreation and Culture Grant Fund

The purpose of the fund is to make a significant contribution towards the development and improvement of recreation/cultural activity in the borough. The fund is only available to organisations that are purely not-for-profit and the application must be for the benefit of people in the Ribble Valley.

Sport England Small Grants

You can apply for any sum from £300 to £10,000 but the total project cannot exceed £50,000. The Sport England Small Grants Programme has been set up to support local community sport projects which seek to increase participation, sustain participation or develop opportunities for people to excel at their chosen sport.

The fund is open for any bona fide not-for-profit club or association, statutory body or educational establishment. It will not fund orgainsations or establishments established to make a profit or distribute this to members.
