UK Shared Prosperity Fund

REPF Year One (2023/24) and Year Two (2024/25)

The government approved the Council’s rural addendum to the investment plan in April 2024 with the first year’s allocation (£75,000) received in July 2023. This has resulted in a very short period to spend our allocation.

On 12 September 2023 Policy and Finance Committee approved the following use of the Council’s REPF funding for both years of the fund

  • A rural capital grant scheme for the Borough’s rural villages (see separate page)
  • The erection of Electric Vehicle Charging Points at the following rural car parks:
    • Sabden
    • Slaidburn
    • Dunsop Bridge
    • Chipping
    • Ribchester

For year two of this funding (£358,690) the majority of the Council’s allocation will be focused on the rural capital grant scheme.
