DanceSyndrome - Community Groups Directory
- What does it do?
- DanceSyndrome is a disability-led charity that uses inclusive dance to create opportunities, build confidence, and bring people together. People with learning disabilities take on leadership roles at the heart of the organisation, delivering workshops, training, and performances that challenge perceptions and inspire others. Through its work across the Northwest and beyond, DanceSyndrome promotes inclusion, wellbeing, and the belief that disability should never be a barrier to achieving your goals. Their Everybody Dance sessions are at the heart of what they do, providing a fun and inclusive space where people of all abilities can come together to dance, socialise, and express themselves. The sessions support physical and mental wellbeing while creating opportunities for participants to develop confidence, independence, and lasting friendships
