Discover Ribble Valley of the past on film with the North West Film Archive.

40 years ago the Friends of Lancashire Archives was launched with a series of historic film shows provided by the North West Film Archive at Manchester Metropolitan University. In our anniversary year we are again partnering with the NWFA to bring historic film footage to three different parts of Lancashire – Clitheroe and the Ribble Valley; Lancaster; and Skelmersdale.

There are frequent bus and train services to Clitheroe. Limited Blue Badge parking is available onsite close to the Museum entrance, and other car parking is available in the town centre.

All areas of Clitheroe Castle Museum are wheelchair accessible by ramps and platform lift.
