Guiding you to the best of British craft talent this winter. Showcasing the best of British making, Northern Star provides inspiration for that perfect handmade gift or treat. Join us as we celebrate creativity this Christmas season.

Connecting Crafts: 24 January– 19 March

The Platform Gallery's first exhibition of the year brings together two established Crafts of Printmaking and Ceramics through revered Northern Craft organisations; the Northern Potters Association and 10 Strong Artists.  It is the aim of this exhibition to highlight and showcase the wealth of talented artists that belong to these organisations and the wider goal of the gallery to connect visitors with local contemporary makers and their crafts

Craft Open: 4 April – 18 June

The Platform Gallery's annual exhibition, known for highlighting the wealth of talented craft makers surrounding the Platform Gallery. Connecting visitors with local contemporary makers and their crafts.

A new opportunity at the Platform Gallery, Leyland based Auctioneers Warren & Wignall, are going to be holding regular Valuation Day's at the Platform Gallery. Make an appointment and bring along items that you may be considering selling at auction. Jewellery specialist James Warren FGA BA (Hons) will be on hand to value any items. Dermod Ruddock - The Colour Of Our Land: 27 & 28 November

Returning artist Dermod in his own words, "I’m delighted to be able, once again, to show a collection of my most recent paintings in ‘The Mix’ from 26-28 November. I’ve really enjoyed my forays into using expressionist colours in patterns of light and shade, especially in the local landscape of the Ribble Valley. Exhibition by Angela Baptie: 3 - 5 & 10 - 12 December

For two weekends, in December, there will be a selling exhibition of artwork by Ribble Valley artist, Angela Baptie.
The exhibition will include a display of original oil paintings, limited edition prints of her Pendle Hill Series, original abstract paintings, gifts and cards.
