Winter Service and Gritting

Winter Weather and Gritting

Lancashire County Council provides the winter gritting service to roads in the Ribble Valley for more information see Lancashire County Council Gritting.

During periods of snow and severe weather, gritting may take considerably longer to complete. Lancashire County Council use all available resources to clear the priority network and the remaining network in a priority order.

For priority and secondary gritting routes go to the Lancashire County Council mapping system for the most up to date information. Alternatively call 0300 123 6701.
