Edisford Bridge

Edisford Bridge on the edge of Clitheroe is a popular riverside area for friends and families to meet up, especially over the summer months. In addition to a playground and miniature railway, there’s the wonderful River Ribble to bask in, footpaths along the river to follow where you can paddle, picnic on the banks or maybe catch a visit from the ice cream van.
Access to the riverbank car park is for blue badge holders only. There is barrier which requires a fob, obtainable for a £20 refundable deposit from Ribblesdale Pool. Please take your blue badge to the pool or if that is not possible send a picture of the badge to pool.reception@ribblevalley.gov.uk together with your name and telephone number and the staff will contact you to take the deposit payment over the phone and send the fob to you. Please obtain a fob before attempting to go to the riverbank to avoid having to try and turn your vehicle around at the barrier.
